Prof. Yong Zhong, South China University of Technology

钟勇研究员，华南理工大学

钟勇，现任华南理工大学吴贤铭智能工程学院特聘研究员，博士生导师。分别在华中科技大学、中国科学院大学、香港中文大学获得本硕博学位，曾在新加坡国立大学担任研究员。入选国家装备预研教育部联合基金“青年人才”项目。在国际期刊和会议上发表相关论文50余篇，申请了20余项发明专利（授权6项）。担任IEEE ICRA2021 “软体机器人”分会场主席，以及IEEE AIM2022“柔性机器人”分会场主席，入围2019、2021 IEEE ROBIO最优会议论文奖。近三年主持国家级项目2项，省部级项目4项，主持和参与其他项目10余项。研究兴趣包括水下仿生机器人、柔-软机器人的设计和控制、以及人工智能算法的工业应用研究。

Yong Zhong (M’17) received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical design, manufacturing and automation from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Hubei, China, in 2011, and the M.Eng. degree in control engineering from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shatin, Hong Kong, in 2017. He was a research fellow at National University of Singapore from 2017 to 2019. He is currently a Research Fellow with Shien-Ming Wu School of Intelligent Engineering, South China University of Technology. His research interests include bioinspired robots, soft robots, intelligent diagnosis and control.
